Kick-Fit and Sports Moves Fitness

The origin of the terms "Kick-Fit" and "Sports Moves Fitness" can be traced back to Deeforce during the early 1990's.

Classes were organised in London and Rotterdam, specifically for people who wished to use Kickboxing for fitness, without the bodily contact and harsh discipline.

Initially ridiculed, the format was based upon a fusion of circuit training, aerobics and kickboxing moves. Since then, many others have imitated this formula, which has now evolved into many different styles and adopted a variety of labels worldwide.

Not only a great adrenaline high, Kick-Fit also provides a superb cardiovascular workout, at the same time toning and strengthening the body. The average person burns 350-450 calories during a 50 minute class.
